2018 has been a great year, so eventful and there has been a lot of sudden dominance from Artiste we rarely expected. Our Programs Room picked the listed Artistes in random order based on their sudden rise and continued dominance in the gospel music scene in 2018.
Tim Godfrey – Tim is known for his energetic performance and his ability to coordinate his crew and crowd.
He shook the world with the release of NARA featuring re-known International Gospel Artiste and Pastor, Travis Greene. The song has gradually become an anthem of sort that resounds at every worship gathering.
Mercy Chinwo – This 2012 Nigerian Idol Winner has continued her shocking dominance of the Nigerian Gospel Music Scene since the released of her Hit Single “Excess Love” with follow up hit singles after another. Her stage presence is such a huge display of energy and her vocal dexterity is out of this world. Mercy’s album “The Cross My Gaze” is one album you cannot skip a track from the beginning to the end.
Prospa Ochimana: Ever since he released his hit single “Ekwueme“ featuring Osinachi Nwachukwu, this exceptional worship leader has gradually been on the rise in the Nigerian Gospel industry. His vocal range is beyond comparison and we are hopeful that 2019 will unfold the side of him that we are yet to see as far as Gospel music is concern.
Osinachi Nwachukwu: The song “Ekwueme“ by Prospa Ochimana will be incomplete without the voice of this Woman of God. She sings deep traditional worship songs that transcends language barrier. What some people do not know about her is that, she has been singing even as a member of a group which she was the lead singer, alongside her twin sister, and together they have an album to their credit.
