UK-based gospel singer and worship leader Toluwanimee is out with a new body of work, ” W.O.W (Walking on Water) The EP,” available now to stream on all major digital platforms. This comes on the heels of her 40th birthday anniversary (July 16) and it follows her sophomore full-length album “Good & More” which dropped in October 2022 to great acclaim.
W.O.W (Walking on Water) EP, is an in-depth worship experience that demonstrates Toluwanimee’s unwavering faith and trust in God, featuring a powerful collection of nine tracks that inspire increased intimacy with the Father (God). It includes (4) brand-new songs such as the never-heard-before “So Beautiful”, and (5) live remakes from her “Good & More” album such as “Enough (Live)” featuring highly celebrated worship leader Onos.
Speaking about the W.O.W EP, Toluwanimee revealed she had no idea or plan to record a new project this soon. “Having recorded three songs earlier this year, as the months went by, especially with my fortieth birthday in view it was impressed on me to gift listeners with a new body of work, and that’s how the Journey to an EP began,” the ‘Mercy’ singer shared.
Commenting on the title, Toluwanimee said “With the unfolding of the sounds and message of the songs, I knew the name had to be prophetic and a statement of faith, hence, W.OW. meaning Walking on Water which serves as a reminder to listeners that our everyday reality is the supernatural, and incredible is the new normal,”
“I am more than confident, this project will bless listeners and push them to higher levels of manifestation, indeed to walk on water,” she added.
Toluwanimee is well known for her vocal prowess, worship-driven sounds, and uplifting lyrics evident in all her songs. Since debuting on the music scene in 2013, the Nigerian-born worship minister and songwriter has relentlessly blessed the body of Christ and the world at large with powerful songs of praise & worship.
