[Video] Obodobo Plenty By Prince Promise
Prince Promise, the UK Based Multi Award Winning Gospel Minister has finally released the much-awaited Gospel Praise Dance Video for the song ‘OBODOBO PLENTY BLESSING’ produced by Tobass Records and Video Directed by Justice DH Filmz. Obodobo in Nigerian Igbo Language means something wide and big. It is used in the song to explain how big, wide and large God’s blessings are in our life.
The Afro beat, dancehall styled Gospel Video shot in the streets of Abuja comes with a variety of dance steps ranging from Shaku Shaku to Odi Dance steps, to Pilolo, Gwara Gwara, Malwedhe, Kwangwaru, Kpakujemu and Vosho dance style. The highpoint of the dance steps is the demonstration of ‘Aka Nisi, Aka N’ukwu, Tughariwa, Ukwu ruo gi ala’ which is an Igbo demonstration slogan that means; ‘Your hands on your head, your hands on your waist, turn round and bend down low’.
Speaking about the music video and the inspiration behind it, Prince Promise who is mostly known for bringing heaven down during his worship sessions and soul-lifting worship songs said. “I’ve discovered that one of the ways of bringing people who normally will be in the clubs and parties back to the house of God is through music that appeals to them. After they have danced like David danced, they will now relax to hear the word of God, and I tell you, there are a lot of testimonies of people giving their lives to Christ after these. We can no longer allow the devil to draw men and women to hell using worldly music. The world is changing and we Christians should find better ways of bringing more souls to Christ”.
“The energy in this Gospel music video is simply irresistible and you cannot do any of your Christian or Church parties, weddings, birthday, thanksgiving and celebrations without asking the DJ to play Obodobo Plenty. Children and youths also love using this song for Choreography during Church programmes. I am also surprised seeing people use the Obodobo dance beats at the gym during aerobics sessions”.
This song is off the Awesome Wonder Unastahili album now on Youtube, Amazon, iTunes, Deezer, CDbaby, Boomplay, Spotify and all music streaming platforms.
