International women’s day is celebrated around the world and set aside to honor women achievements in all sphere of life.
In that spirit, US-based Nigerian Gospel Minister, Adaora seizes the opportunity to through her support in acknowledging the impact of fellow female gospel artists that have influenced her including her music directly or indirectly.
We are making history in several ways. Some of us are the first to do music in our families and have shattered several glass ceilings, with little to no recognition.
Speaking further; If it were in my county here in America, some people would have received the key to the city by now, [she laughs}.

Some of us are juggling full-time jobs, motherhood, running self owned businesses and ministry. Even though we deserve to receive more credit than we get, please take some time to celebrate every win, even those you consider small.
Importantly, following the legacy of the women that started this tradition, let’s advocate for every woman, especially women in music ministry and make yourself available to “pull a Sister Up”. Thanks for yielding yourselves to be used by God.
I also want to thank my team for putting all of this together. Great job!
Happy International Women Day 2024.
