American renowned Gospel musician; Kirk Franklin today shared a video, expressing his heart cry as a believer.
He began by stating that he wants to live for God, adding that he is tired of seeing people turn away from God because of the “bull” that believers do.
Kirk who is set to be in Nigeria in August for the Fearless Concert hosted by Tim Godfrey went on to state as a matter of fact that everyone is guilty of judging.
“I know this is going to be for a lot of you but I don’t care. I really wanna live for the Lord. I do man. I really want to live sold out
I’m tired of seeing people not come to God because of the bull that we do and you may say well they shouldn’t judge but everybody judges. You judge what restaurant you want to go to, you judge what movie you want to go to.”
The grammy award winner, then went on to castigate this fact, indicating that Paul stated that our lives should be an example. He added that believers should be able to come back to God through the way we live our lives.
“Paul said that our lives ought to be living epistles. People should be able to look at our lives and determine the God that they are going to serve. Its almost like your daddy cheating on your mama and then telling you to be a good man..come on man.”
Kirk Franklin concluded by stating that he does not just want to do music and please the crowd, but he wants to be sold out to God and love God with all his heart.
“We are to set an example for people if they want to know the God that we Serve. And I want to leave the statement.
I just don’t want to do the music, I don’t wanna be out here wooing people. I really want to be sold out to the king. That’s it man, I wanna love God for real.”
