Nigerian-born US-based gospel music minister, songwriter, and devout worshipper, Damilola Anjorin offers up her sophomore single titled “Ever True.”
The song which is accompanied by a very colourful video is released off an upcoming album titled “God of Grace.”
Speaking about the motivation behind the song, Damilola says, “This is a song of testimony, hope and praises. “And we know that the Son of God is come and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and Eternal life.” – I John 5:20.”
“I pray that your hope is restored as you Praise your way into your answered prayers and testimonies, remember that he is a faithful and True God!” – she affirms
According to Damilola, “My music is inspired by the realization of how Awesome God is, and this stemmed from many personal encounters with God from childhood to teenage life and as an Adult.”
Her music carries evidence of the Supremacy of God overall, her kind of music reverence God, and her vision is to minister songs that uplift the human spirit and draw men closer to God.
Her mission as a gospel artiste is to render professional music that is Spiritual, Soulful, Engaging, and Meaningful to the listener (SSEM).
Damilola has been a Worship Leader for over 20 years but started her professional Musical Career in 2019. In her words, “Music is life to me, and Worship for me is to experience God.”
“Ever True” follows the success recorded by her previous releases such as; “Great I Am” (E tobi to), “Almighty” and “Durotimi” off her upcoming album titled “God of Grace.”
“These worship songs express God’s Greatness and Awesomeness, at times when I have no words to describe him; I just chant some of his numerous names, The Great I Am and Almighty one.” – she adds.
