Britain’s Got Talent: Have 100 Voices of Gospel hit the show with a £130,000 bill?
Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon might be regretting bashing her Golden Buzzer for 100 Voices of Gospel, as it’s been claimed that the group could end up costing the show over £100,000.
According to The Sun, producers will now have to fork out for the choir’s accommodation and travel for the live shows – which could amount to £60,000 in flights and £70,000 for hotel rooms.
After all, the members of 100 Voices of Gospel include over 20 nationalities, so getting them all in one place is probably a logistical nightmare.
A spokesperson for BGT confirmed that 100 Voices of Gospel paid their own way for the auditions, but producers will handle the live show costs.
But a source suggested to DS that the actual price will be far lower than the £130,000 that’s been touted.
So… anyone for block-booking a Megabus and a Travelodge?
The main thing is that 100 Voices of Gospel have made it through to the live shows, after they wowed the judges and viewers with their upbeat rendition of ‘This Little Light of Mine’.
Britain’s Got Talent continues on Saturday (April 30) at 8pm on ITV.
