Again Fire Razes Shops, Goods Worth Millions In Osun Market.
A midnight fire razed Oja Tuntun, one of the biggest markets in Ile-Ife, on Tuesday and destroyed millions of goods in Osun State.
The incident was reportly gathered that the fire started around 11:30 pm from a shop and spread to other parts of the market.
The cause of the incident is still yet to be ascertained, As at the time of filling this report.
A source told Daily Post correspondent that late response from the fire service also contributed to the spread of the fire which caused more destruction.
Meanwhile, it was also discovered that hoodlums took advantage of the incident to steal goods in some stores.
The spokesperson of the Federal Fire Service in Osun State, Basiri Adija, did not respond to calls and text messages sent to her.
It was gathered that it’s the third fire incident in the market in 2020.
